DAY 1 arrive in whitehorse
Arrive in Whitehorse, the capital of Yukon Territory, a small historic city with a gold rush past and unique vibe.

DAY 2 whitehorse - haines junction
First on your list of destinations is Haines Junction. This village is less than two hours west of Whitehorse along the historic Alaska Highway. You will learn why and how the road was built during WWII.

DAY 3 kluane national park
Devote your day to one of the crown jewels of the Yukon Territory: Kluane National Park and Reserve, home to 17 of Canada's highest peaks, including Mt. Logan, the highest mountain in Canada. It also provides excellent hiking, river rafting and backcountry camping opportunities.

DAY 4 haines junction - whitehorse
Drive back and enjoy an relaxing afternoon in Whitehorse. Things you can do include: MacBride Museum (admission included), Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre, Miles Canyon, SS Klondike, Fish Ladder. Rember to stock up on the supplies for the rest of your trip.

DAY 5 whitehorse - dawson city
Get ready for the six-hour incredible scenic drive along the Klondike Highway. Follow in the footsteps of Klondike Gold Rush "stampeders" who braved extreme weather, unforgiving wilderness, and innumerable other obstacles to make it to the gold fields near Dawson City.

Once known as "the Paris of the North", Dawson's history is as colorful as the buildings that line its streets. DAY 7 tombstone territorial park
Take a break from Gold Rush history today to visit Tombstone Territorial Park, a unique wilderness an hour and a half outside of Dawson City, There, you'll have seemingly endless opportunities fo hiking, wildlife spotting, fishing, winter activities, camping and admiring the scenery of one of the most remote swaths of public land in the territory.
